SR Asia Workshop on Sustainability Reporting as per GRI Guideline

SR Asia is playing an active role to promote sustainability reporting and understanding the benefits of sustainability reporting practice by the organizations and the requirement of Bangladesh Bank. In May 2013, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) launched the fourth generation of the GRI G4 Sustainability Guidelines.

Social Responsibility Asia (SR Asia) is organizing a workshop on Sustainability Reporting in guideline where Dr. Aditi Halder, Director of Asia Pacific, GRI is invited as resource person to facilitate the workshop.


Objectives of the GRI G4 workshop

1.       The objective of this GRI  training programme is to disseminate knowledge on sustainability reporting throughout Bangladesh and to support organizations, intending to declare their sustainability footprints, using GRI Guidelines


2.       To emphasize on "how-to" include a balanced reporting methodology for non-financial reporting of social issues, environmental performance and business accomplishments, with a focus on the central theme of G4 framework – “what matters and where it matters”.

2.      Companies that are seeking to enhance their corporate communications and investor relations programmes.

3.      Companies that need to understand the details of Sustainability Reporting Guidelines
